The
Foot story
When
my partner asked me if I wanted to go to the Cramphorn theatre,
on 24/09/2007, to see the Living Buddha, Master Yu Tian Jian,
I was curious; so we went along. The talk was "Ancient teachings
in a modern world". During the talk Master Yu offered a healing
meditation. We were asked to focus on anything that was hurting,
well my foot was!
Four
years ago I broke my foot on the way to a job interview, I ended
up in a cast for three weeks. After the cast came off the doctors
told me to rest the foot for another three weeks due to what I
did for a living, I was waitressing, I could not afford to do
this so three Days! later I was back at work. My foot hurt but
not too badly so I carried on thinking nothing of it, some days
it hurt more than others but it seemed ok, until around two months
before I met Master Yu. It was becoming more painful again and
I was concerned as I still work on my feet! So I went to the doctors
and was booked in for an x-ray because my doctor was as concerned
as I had been.
So
when the chance came to meditate and focus on what was ailing
me I chose my foot, I said in my head over and over" I want
the pain to go away" I visualised the pain draining out of
my foot I had to flick it several times to remove the negative
energy (I have had reiki healing so knew about this method). After
the mediation my foot felt slightly better, the talk finished
and we went home. During the night my foot hurt on and off but
by the next day it was 50 per cent better and by the end of the
week I was at an event folk dancing in a field! Dancing was something
I thought I may not be able to do again and that I had given myself
a disability. My foot is now fully better; it even looks better
as the lump on the side where I broke it has gone.
I
have given the painkillers I was prescribed back to my doctor.
He is very pleased with the results, particularly as the painkillers
had been causing patients kidney problems and have been banned
just recently. When I told him he said and I quote "This
man is obviously some kind of Guru it is a pity he is not attached
to the N.H.S.".
I
am so glad to have been given this chance and to have done my
first mediation in front of a Living Buddha. Having experienced
his amazing healing powers I have started to practice his meditation
on a daily basis and I have come to realise that with a little
knowledge and belief we all have the ability to heal ourselves.
